A Teacher-Sponsor must formally express their school's interest in participating in TrackFest by emailing the NLAA before the registration deadline of Tuesday, May 26. In the email, please include the name and email address of the person responsible for managing event registration for your school. The NLAA will provide registration access only to those individuals.
Teacher-Sponsors or designated school representatives are responsible for all event registrations, including relays. Each school can register up to three (3) participants per event and category. Participants may enter a maximum of three individual events and be part of ONE relay team, as long as the school does not exceed the cap of three participants per event and category. Schools may enter up to three (3) relay teams in each competition category. Before proceeding with online registration, teachers will need to collect the following information for each student: First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Grade, and Event(s).
Teacher-Sponsors or designated individuals are expected to attend TrackFest to collect school packets, distribute bib numbers, and represent the school as needed.
Teachers are responsible for informing parents or guardians about their responsibilities and providing a general overview of expectations and the event structure. Please direct parents and guardians to read their Roles and Responsibilities at [link].
After registration, teachers must share the event confirmation list with parents and students.
On Friday, May 29, the lane and heat assignments, including jumping and throwing orders, will be posted on the TrackFest website. Teachers are responsible for sharing this information with all participants before they arrive at the competition site.
